Biography 

Viktoriya Sinitsa earned her Bachelor in Music Performance from California State University and her Master’s in Music Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.

She performs in a wide range of musical styles including Symphony, Opera, Jazz, Baroque, and Contemporary Music. Viktoriya has performed with ensembles such as Jazz Symphonia Phonotone, Apollo Symphony and Solano Symphony.

In addition to performing, Viktoriya founded a youth symphony orchestra where she served as conductor and mentor for young musicians. Her students actively participate in MTAC and ABRSM testing, competitions, and recitals at venues including Carnegie Hall, Disney Hall, Colburn School of Music and Manhattan Conservatory. 

Viktoriya is currently a music mentor professor at American River College, and her teaching experience include teaching private lessons at Radayeva Music Studio and Pacific Institute of Music, teaching Chamber Music and general education music classes at Sacramento State String Project, George Washington High, Natomas Charter School, and Community Outreach Academy. 

My Teaching Philosophy 

My teaching philosophy is centered on the belief that every student is a unique learner, deserving an individualized approach. In my private violin instruction, as well as in my music theory and history classes, I adapt my methods to meet each student’s needs, ensuring progress in both technical mastery and deep understanding. I also aim to create a positive, healthy learning environment, fostering strong, supportive, and professional relationships with each student. I care deeply about their growth both as individuals and as future professionals. Ultimately, my goal is to provide a qualitative education that empowers students to thrive in their future careers, whether in music or beyond.
